Enjoy May: National Masturbation Month!
Sometime ago when the political climate was a different kind of weird, the sex toy and education company, Good Vibrations, decided to protest a particular bit of weirdness in a very fun way. They invented National Masturbation Month. A few years later they decided to up the ante by creating the Masturbate-a-thon weekend, a do-it-yourself from home pledge event designed to put "put the fun back in fundraising". Fast forward a few more fun years and the Center for Sex and Culture, a non-profit sex education center, took on the task of making the Masturbate-a-thon a live event. For obvious reasons we love all of this. This year we are co-sponsoring the 2007 San Francisco live event.
